Considering the size of the project, the process was smooth and painless, it was finished on time, and the results were excellent!
We had decided to completely renovate our 50-year-old apartment in the town centre. Giannis Limnioudis was recommended to us, so we called him. At our first meeting on site he questioned us about our wishes and started making excellent suggestions. He also proposed imaginative ideas and we understood he was a true professional who always saw opportunities for improvement and solutions to problems. He gave us an initial cost estimate and explained that he would be personally responsible for every aspect of the project and we would communicate only with him.
We then had meetings with Giannis in the office of LIMNIOUDIS together with the architect Lily Liberopoulou, to agree the jobs to be done and the materials and fittings to be used. We decided on a heat pump, radiators, air conditioning, solar panel, external insulation, the old wood floors we wished to keep and the new flooring required, the kitchen, the bathroom, the new doors, and the fitted bedroom furniture. The whole process was driven by our needs and how they could best be met. A wide variety of tiles, laminate samples, paint colours, and catalogues of fixtures and fittings were available for us to view and select. Throughout the project Lily provided creative and practical input on interior design and lighting.
After our meetings, Giannis produced a scope of work detailing the jobs to be done, the exact costs, and the timeline. Following discussions, changes, and agreements, we all signed the scope of work. Any extras we later requested were costed and agreed before they were done. We met regularly on site with Giannis and Lily to confirm each stage of the project. The third member of the team, Maria Verasdani gave invaluable help on plans and diagrams, workers’ insurance stamps, paperwork, ordering, and ΔΕΗ. We made payments in stages as the work progressed and Giannis, Maria and an external engineer helped us with our application to the “Εξοικονόμηση κατ’ Οίκον ΙΙ” program.
Considering the size of the project, the process was smooth and painless, it was finished on time, and the results were excellent.
